Following a string of forward-thinking releases in 2026, @serialism_records welcomes @zlene.backsvart & @mathiashinds, the collaborative project of Stockholm-based artists Fredrik Bäcksvart and Mathias Hinds with their "Trollwav" EP.

Shaped by more than a decade of open-ended experimentation, the duo has developed a sound with no fixed form or framework, drifting effortlessly between minimal house, breaks, and hypnotic grooves. Deeply connected to Stockholm’s underground scene through the @seaweedrecords family and the legendary @neustockholm, their music balances functionality with exploration, always driven by movement and atmosphere.

Their debut on Serialism captures this spirit perfectly: elegant yet raw, playful yet precise, blending rolling rhythms, subtle textures, and timeless dancefloor energy into a release that feels both intimate and expansive.

The artwork once again comes from Fernanda Mattos, whose distinctive collage work adds another layer of depth, transforming fragments and memories into a visual counterpart to the music's fluid and evolving nature.

This Saturday: Serialism at @maschinerie_ev 🖤

@weg_music and @rhomomit are back in Dortmund and this time we welcome Düsseldorf's @sophietje.avontuur from the @avontuur.events crew. A fixture in her home scene with regular appearances at hotspots such as @ursprung_fi and @gewoelbe_cologne, she's known for delivering deep, driving underground grooves. ☄️

Following the opening chapter of 2026, @august.artier returns to Serialism Records with "Lo-Fi Tales" his third release on the label.

The Italian/Australian artist, now based in Barcelona, continues to shape his distinctive sonic identity, blending UK breaks, house, and raw 90s textures into a refined yet exploratory sound. The EP moves through a more experimental and cinematic space, where dusty grooves meet elegant sound design.

"Lo-Fi Tales" unfolds as a collection of intimate sketches, warm, and deeply expressive, embracing the beauty while maintaining a strong identity on the dancefloor.

With broken rhythms, textured layers, and subtle melodic touches, August Artier delivers a record that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking, a natural evolution within Serialism's sonic universe, where function meets character, and groove meets emotion.

The artwork once again comes from Fernanda Mattos, whose signature collage aesthetic adds a tactile, almost nostalgic visual layer that perfectly mirrors the EP's lo-fi soul and refined elegance.
